Format for the Triple Flip Wild Rose International
The Wild Rose Gymnastics Association is proud to confirm its format for the F.I.G. Junior and Senior portions of the Triple Flip Wild Rose International Invitational.
As for last year, we will be having two different sets of awards for Juniors and two sets of awards for Seniors.
* Junior Challenge: For age-eligible Junior gymnasts (foreign) not representing their National Team; for age-eligible Canadian High Performance Novice (age permitting) & Junior gymnasts (based on G.C.G.’s HP Lists in effect at the time); and for age-eligible non-High Performance gymnasts (Canada).
* Junior International Cup: For age-eligible Junior gymnasts representing their respective Junior National Teams and for Canadian High Performance Junior gymnasts (based on G.C.G.’s HP Lists in effect at the time);
* Senior Challenge: For age-eligible Senior gymnasts (foreign) not representing their National team; for age-eligible Canadian High Performance Senior gymnasts (based on G.C.G.’s HP Lists in effect at the time); and for age-eligible non-High Performance gymnasts (Canada).
* Senior International Cup: For age-eligible Senior gymnasts representing their respective Senior National teams and for age-eligible Canadian High Performance Senior gymnasts (based on G.C.G.’s HP Lists in effect at the time);
In other words:
1) A Canadian National or HP Novice can compete in either the Novice Category OR in the Junior Challenge, age permitting. Therefore, a Canadian National Novice or HP Novice cannot compete in the Junior Cup.
2) A Canadian HP Junior can compete in either the Junior Challenge or the Junior Cup. She cannot compete in the Senior Cup.
3) A Canadian HP Senior can compete in either the Challenge or in the Cup.
4) In both the Junior and Senior Cups, a gymnast can represent her club as an individual, or represent her National team as an individual or represent her National Team as a “counting” team member of that country.
5) There is no “Canadian National Open” competition at this meet. Athletes who are not eligible for the International Cup (see above) must declare themselves as either Juniors or Seniors in the CHALLENGE, in accordance with their age. In other words, Canadian National Open gymnasts cannot register in the Senior Cup.
* The Organizing Committee reserves the right to limit registration in all categories.
