Help Support the Wild Rose International Invitational
The Wild Rose International Gymnastics Invitational Association (non-profit) inaugurated the “Founders Circle” in 2010. This is a group of individuals who provide cash donations (amount of their choice) in support of the Wild Rose.
THE WILD ROSE INTERNATIONAL GYMNASTICS INVITATIONAL WAS CREATED TO PROVIDE CANADIAN FEMALE GYMNASTS, COACHES AND JUDGES WITH A QUALITY COMPETITIVE EXPERIENCE ON DOMESTIC SOIL. THE WILD ROSE CATERS TO ALL LEVELS OF COMPETITIVE AND DEVELOPMENTAL GYMNASTICS, WITH THE GOAL OF INSPIRING YOUNGER GYMNASTS TO ACHIEVE THE HIGHEST OF LEVELS AND TO SUPPORT THOSE CANADIAN GYMNASTS WHO NEED INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE AND EXPOSURE.
Many of you are already supporting the event and the vision behind it and we thank you for this.
OVER THE LAST 7 EDITIONS OF THE WILD ROSE GYMNASTICS COMPETITION, THOUSANDS OF ALBERTA FEMALE GYMNASTS HAVE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO RUB SHOULDERS WITH THE GREATS OF OUR SPORT (Svetlana Boginskaya, Elena Zamolodchikova, Viktoria Karpenko, Simona Amanar, Deng Lin Lin, Jiang Yuyuan, Kate Richardson, Shang Chunsong).
Hosting an event of this magnitude virtually without any government support is very difficult. For example, many of you do not know that in order to attract the VERY BEST in the world, our Organizing Committee has to pay for a large part (if not all) of our guests expenses. This can get expensive.
We would like to offer you a unique opportunity in regards to the Triple Flip Wild Rose International Invitational.
Last year, the Wild Rose Gymnastics Invitational Association (non-profit) lauched the “FOUNDERS CIRCLE”.
This is a group of individuals who have decided to support the WILD ROSE GYMNASTICS INTERNATIONAL, by donating a "no-strings attached" cash amount of their choice.
Our goal is to collect 40 donations of $ 500 or more on a yearly basis. This would GUARANTEE a healthy future for the WILD ROSE for years to come.
Your generous support would provide aspiring young female gymnasts, coaches and judges with the opportunity to participate in a first class international event right here in ALBERTA. Your donation is an investment and can make a difference in the lives of these young athletes.
There are tewo ways to donate:
1) Through the Community Spirit Donations Grant Program, the Alberta Government will match all funds donated by private individuals to our Association. One of the conditions of this grant is that it be from individuals and not from corporations. No tax-deductible receipt can be given for providing a donation.
2) Any competitive club or corporation in Canada can contribute any amount to the FOUNDERS' CIRCLE.
In 2010, we received many donations ranging from $ 100 to $ 2,000 and we managed to raise close to $ 6,500
As a member of the FOUNDER'S CIRCLE, you are acknowledged in the following ways:
* A Founders Circle Plaque is on permanent display at the Champions Gymnastics' Centre of Excellence (9527-49 St., Edmonton).
* A Founders Circle website page on our association’s website where your name will be listed.
* A Founders Circle page will be included in the event program with each of the Founder’s names.
Please join us in making our mark on the international gymnastics calendar as Canadian athletes prepare for the 2012 Olympic Games.
