2010 L.E.A.P. Event at the Triple Flip Wild Rose International Invitational
One of the goals of the 2010 Triple Flip Wild Rose is to provide young female gymnasts with the inspiration to pursue competitive gymnastics. The L.E.A.P. program caters to young female gymnast aged 6 to 9 years old. These young athletes do not compete per se. Instead, they attend "L.E.A.P. events", where their physical abilities (strength, flexibility, power) AND their skills (vault, bars, beam and floor) are tested in an environment that simulates competition.
Each of these young gymnasts has the option of testing in either or both components.
This year, the Triple Flip Wild Rose L.E.A.P. event will be held at CHAMPIONS GYMNASTICS (9527-49 St., Edmonton, Alberta, Canada) on Thursday April 1 and Friday April 2, 2010.
SCHEDULE:
THURSDAY APRIL 1:
* Arrival of gymnasts: 4:30 PM
* Warm-up: 4:45 PM
* Testing starts: 5:30 PM
* Awards: 7:45 PM
FRIDAY APRIL 2:
* Arrival of gymnasts: 4:30 PM
* Warm-up: 4:45 PM
* Testing starts: 5:30 PM
* Awards: 7:45 PM
L.E.A.P. gymnasts get FREE access to the Main Event at Northlands with presentation of their athlete accreditation.
